Help Needed in CA service Desk and Opalis integration RRS feed

  • Dear Friends,

       I am planning to evaluate Opalis in our Environment. We are using CA service Desk , so i am planning to use Opalis to handle CA service Desk for raising an incident and closing an incident .

    Can some one provide an information on this ...

  • Unfortunately I am not aware of any other packages of workflows or examples relating to CA Service Desk.  I know that Program Managers for Opalis frequent these threads so hopefully one of them will review this thread and add some examples for CA Service Desk moving forward but unfortunately that isn't going to help you right now.

    If you are having issues getting the Integration Pack for CA Service Desk to work you might want to open a support case or if you are getting a specific error you can post that here and hopefully get some assistance.

  • What kind of information are you looking for?  There is an Integration Pack for CA Service Desk that is capable of (among other things) creating and updating (e.g. closing) an incident.

  • I have updated "Integration Pack for CA Service Desk" in my Opalis . I need some sample work flow for CA Service desk to following task .

    1) Read ticket and react based on that.

    2) update and Close the Ticket after solving an Incident.

  • There are some workflow examples available here (http://opalis.codeplex.com/releases/view/44960).  I don't know if these include CA Service Desk specifically, but it should certainly include examples on reading ticket and performing updates.
