Script to mask or hide the notifications RRS feed

  • Question

  • Has anyone ever tried to use a script to mask or hide the notifications of SCCM's task sequence? The notification of our task sequence seems to have angered some people.
Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

  • Hi,

Do you want to hide the New Software is available toast notification? If so, you can try to enable the "Suppress task sequence notifications" option(by default this option is disabled):
    1. Right click on your task sequence and select Properties,
    2. On the Advanced tab, check the "Suppress task sequence notifications" option.
    3. Please don't forget to click the "Apply" button.
In addition, you will still see the New software icon in the notification area of your Software Center.

I hope the above information is helpful to you.

    Best regards,
    Larry
