Using Azure certificate to Cloud services

    Question

  • Hello,

The question is about Azure SSL certificate.  We purchased SSL certificate and verified with domain.

We wanted to use with Azure Cloud services (classic), so we exported .pfx file following instructions of this linkNow we uploaded the the same .pfx file to Azure cloud services and using same Thumbprint while publishing our WebRole.

It is giving following error and failing.

"Certificate with thumbprint XXXXXXX associated with HTTPS input endpoint HttpsIn does not contain private key."

    Please help.

  • Note: Your application must be configured to use the certificate, and an HTTPS endpoint must be added. As a result, the service definition and service configuration files need to be updated.

Could you re-check the service definition and configuration files are configured currently?
