IP address and domain join not working within autounattend.xml RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to set up the IP address information for my lab servers within the autounattend.xml file for some lab servers.  I have used the information below in order to try to get this set but for some reason it is not working.  Can someone take a look at the info and tell me what I have wrong within the file?

  • This is not an MDT script that I am running.  This is the legitimate answer file that you can create within the Windows System Image Manager in the WAIK toolkit.  This is a completly different process than using the MDT as this is dealing with a server and not a workstation.  I am slipstreaming this autounattend.xml file into the ISO file that I am using to install Windows Server 2019 Standard or Standard Core onto the Hyper-V VMs that I am creating.  I have 8 different ISO files that contain a separeate autounattend.xml file I am using that corresponds to each individual VM that I am trying to create.
