  • Hi,

Do you have the same problem on all your clients?

What is your current version of SCCM and Windows client?

Have you tried to repair or reinstall the client?

On my lab, I have Windows 10 1903 and I don't have also Software Center in Notifications & actions window, but I don't have any issue.

    Regards,

  • Hi,

No I dont have that issue on all my clients. But some clients. I have reinstalled the agent. No effect. The log file "SCToastNotification_Domain@user.log" shows the following error:

"Toast notification process started with command line Installation failed The software installation was not successful. Click to view the details.  (Microsoft.SoftwareCenter.Client.ToastNotification.App at Main"

    Regards

  • Here I cannot see any error message

Not seeing an error message is not the same as it being successful. Only scanning for error messages is only a small portion of reviewing log files and troubleshooting. Details are important.

  • Are these multi-user systems?

Can you please post the entire SCToastNotification_Domain@user.log (on a file-sharing service and link to it here)?

The toast failed (Microsoft.SoftwareCenter.Client.ToastNotification.App at ToastFailed)

    Starting up... (Microsoft.SoftwareCenter.Client.ToastNotification.App at Main)

Client is running .Net Version4.0.30319.42000 (Microsoft.SoftwareCenter.Client.ToastNotification.App at Main) I have highlight the error message

  • I am sorry I have no file sharing service.

There are many, many free ones on the web including OneDrive, DropBox, Google Drive, PasteBin, etc. etc.

What about my first question: "Are these multi-user systems?"

    Also, have you seen https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/4a3c7119-93a9-4c0d-9164-75a231f5a7ab/sctoastnotificationexe-the-toast-failed?forum=ConfigMgrCBGeneral
