No tracing even with EnableFileTracing regkey RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have an issue with the LiveMeeting client via VPN and want to troubleshoot what is going wrong. Therefore I want to enable the Tracing option in the Client.
    - I followed the steps on this page: http://ocsguy.com/2009/10/08/troubleshooting-live-meeting/
    - I verified the registry key several times but still no .uccplog file in the %USERFOLDER%\tracing location.
    - I reinstalled the client using the latest available installer.
    - I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. Communicator 2007 R2 & attendant console are also installed on the machine but not running when testing
    - Using process monitor I checked the PWconsole.exe process and it never tries to read that key.

What am I doing wrong or what is happening?
