Data Refresh errors when testing connection - unpredictable behavior RRS feed

  • Hi there,

    I'm trying to set up my Data Refresh in Power BI online, and am facing some issues there.

    Although the Data Refresh works sometimes, 9 out of 10 times the 'test connection' button leads gives an error, although the data source as well as the gateway indicates succesful connection to my on-premises SQL Server database.

    I've collected some recent errors here:

    Then suddenly, without changing anything, I get a green checkmark when testing the connection.

    During all these errors, I didn't change or update anything.

    Because the error messages are rather cryptic, I cannot see what is wrong exactly - but I suspect this isn't the default behavior :).

    Can you help me by indicating what is wrong?
