(Dutch SP1 Integrated ISO's) Localized license.rtf (DUTCH) agreement still talks about Release Candidate and Beta software RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

When installing the nl_windows_7_enterprise_with_sp1_x86_dvd_620180.iso I noticed that the offered (Dutch) License.rtf is still the 'Release Candidate version'.

    When I browse the ISO (SHA-1: 36CD5CD518E93F444E49AE25D6F320385B7DE581):

    Correct US-English SP1 License
    \sources\license\_default\_default\enterprise\license.rtf

    Incorrect Dutch SP1 RC license
    \sources\license\nl-nl\_default\enterprise\license.rtf

    also:
    \sources\license\nl-nl\_default\enterprisee\license.rtf
    \sources\license\nl-nl\_default\enterprisen\license.rtf

Further license.rtf files incorrect or not translated in Dutch.

    nl_windows_7_enterprise_with_sp1_x64_dvd_620195.iso (SHA-1: 8C7A107773F6040DEAB143EEA0FDD0D99D0290BA) is also 'affected'

I downloaded the ISO's from MSDN today becasue of the availability ot the SP1 integrated nl-nl (Dutch) versions. Also the Dutch localized versions are never offered as beta or release candidates to my knowledge.
Normally I do not take notice of the license displayed within Windows 7 because of unattended installations but I did take notice and strangely I was offered the 'Beta' agreement.
PLease have a look in the German ISO? maybe you can find some 'RC' license.rtf files because I could find some, also US-english ones.
Strangely why not review all the license.rtf  documents and remove the RC and beta references.

  • I looked at the German ISO and it is correct:

    EULAID:Win7SP1_RM.2_E_RTL_de-de (Enterprise)

    EULAID:Win7SP1_RM.2_ULT_RTL_de-de (Ultimate)
