  • I get pretty much exactly the same thing (x64 version)

Also, when I try and re-run the install through the SQL Installation Centre, nothing happens - so I'm not able to try and re-install individual components.

  • Thanks for the post.  Were you installing from the command line or through the UI?  If it was a command line install, can you post your installation script (without any passwords in the text)?

    Thanks,

  • My installer was from MSDN Subscribers download:  which is not right (corrupted media)

Again downloaded from http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=28145.  This works fine.

  • I dug around a bit and found a few bugs internally where we hit this same issue.  On each of those cases, it turned out to be some sort of corrupt media problem.  If you are hitting this issue, please try to download a new copy of the ISO and try again.

    Thanks,

  • I tried downloading the installer multiple times and every time I hit the exact same error. Even the one from the above provided link does not work. Could some one post the relevant link that has the proper media?

    Thanks...Mohammed

  • I finally got it working. The problem is with the ISO installer. I downloaded the box files and the exe and installed it.
