Outsourcing App to Use Azure SQL Database: Different way of Authentication and Authorization

  • Hi,

We're outsourcing the construction of a new application that uses Azure SQL Database. My company's AD and AAD folks don't want to add them to our domain. So I took the other typical approach and create SQL logins for them. Others here don't like that answer either. So I've been asked to see if there's a way for these developers to connect to our database without either AAD or SQL Logins to do their CRUD statements.

So is there some third way I'm not thinking of?
