  • Thank you for your post.

It appears as if you may have a permissions issue.  To learn more, we'd like you to file a bug with the FCS product team on this -- if you visit: http://connect.microsoft.com/feedback/default.aspx?SiteID=27, you can submit feedback to the product team.  (to submit feedback, you will have to register a Passport acct with the Connect portal).

When you create the bug, please locate the FCS configuration log file(e.g. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Forefront\Client Security\Server\Logs\ServerConfig.log) and your reporting services log files(C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.2\Reporting Services\LogFiles), zip them up and attach them to the newly created bug.  You may want to mark the bug as "private" so that only Microsoft can see these files.

Once you file the initial bug, we will investigate and work with you directly as needed.

    Thanks,

    Craig

  • It seems that I cannot post unless someone gives me permission, I looked for a way to get permission for the ForeFront Group. However, there is only an email address???!!! All I want is an answer or guidance in the right direction? Why do I have to jump through hoops to get help with a BETA? I am helping MS to make their products work better! Anyway, SQL reports for other programs work fine (IE: CRM). I cant submit a bug so now what. I would like to ditch Syamantec AV and try Forefront but again MS makes everything so hard!!!

  • Hello!

To post on the Portal, you need to register an email address with the Connect portal.

If you start here:  https://connect.microsoft.com/feedback/default.aspx?SiteID=27, you should see the Feedback portal for FCS.  Please click the Sign In button in the upper right corner and sign in with a Passport acct.  This registers you with the Connect portal and allows you to submit feedback to the product team

Once signed in, you should see a big green Submit Feedback link on the screen that will allow you to file a bug with the team

    Hope this helps

    Thanks

    Chris

  • I have the problem to.

Did anyone find a solution for this? I've been adding permissions everywhere.. IIS, SQL, ReportServer-website but nothing seem to work.

I am currently installing SQL 2005 SP3 to see if that solwes the problem. I'll be back posting result.

  • I think that I solved the problem by installing .NET 1.1 or SQL Server SP2... I don't remember...
