A CXmlApiException was raised in native code : error 16 : scxmlapi(16) - Invalid or missing file name in XML request RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

We are consuming HP Webservice, when our request is like below

    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><SOAP-ENV:Header/><SOAP-ENV:Body><ns2:RetrieveOperator xmlns:ns2="http://schemas.hp.com/SM/7"><model><keys updatecounter=""><ContactName>TEST,USER</ContactName></keys><instance/></model></ns2:RetrieveOperator></SOAP-ENV:Body></SOAP-ENV:Envelope>

Getting an error response as :

A CXmlApiException was raised in native code : error 16 : scxmlapi(16) - Invalid or missing file name in XML request

where as when we append filename="operator" in RetrieveOperator  element, then getting proper response.

    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"><SOAP-ENV:Header/><SOAP-ENV:Body><ns2:RetrieveOperator xmlns:ns2="http://schemas.hp.com/SM/7" filename="operator"><model><keys updatecounter=""><ContactName>TEST,USER</ContactName></keys><instance/></model></ns2:RetrieveOperator></SOAP-ENV:Body></SOAP-ENV:Envelope>

we are using HP Service Manager 9.40. just want to know any webservice changes ? why filename="operator" attribute is needed to make it work ? bcz previously it was working.

Any changes can we do on HP Service Manager so that to avoid this filename="operator" attrbute ? Please help

  • Hi,

which integration pack are you using exactly? Which version of Orchestrator do you have?

    Thanks,
