I keep getting a message when I try to log into my hotmail account about a security code. I says:
Did you request a security info change?
Someone with the email address of myemail@####.com started a process to change the password or security info for this Microsoft account.
When I say yes this was me it say its going to send some code to an email address that I don't have anymore and cannot access. There is no way to change this alternate/back up email address in my profile and no way to do anything. According to
this error essage I have until 8/20 before it's not going to work anymore???
Is there a way to change my alternate/backup email address or fix this damn problem? I've been working on this for almost a month now and there is no help when you call any of the MS tech support numbers... They just direct you back to the #*%&^#!
tech support FAQ web page which is worthless. If someone can help me before 8/20/14 that would be great... Otherwise I'm loosing my hotmail account and going shopping at the Apple store. :-/
