Is it possible to interface Ocs 2007 R2 with Siemens Hipath 3800 and in which way? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We need to interface our Siemens Hipath 3800 with our Ocs 2007 R2.

What's the way to do it and what's necessary between the pbx and the mediation server?

    Many Thanks to all,

  • You will need a voice gateway, I would prefer Audiocodes or Dialogic:

  • We are trying too to interface our OCS R2 with a Hipath3800.
The Hipath is an IP-PBX, we forward directly number in Native SIP to our Mediation server but it doesn't work.

Are you sure that we need a voice gateway? Is it possible to interface directly ou IP-PBX with the Mediation Server ?

    Many thanks.

  • You will also need to ensure the Mediation Server is setup accordingly.

You need to specify the Next Hop (which will be your IP/PBX) and decide if you are going to communicate on TCP (5060) or TLS (5061).  If the latter, you will need to ensure you have a certificate implemented and that the corresponding IP/PBX trusts the issuing CA.

Finally, you will need to validate that you IP/PBX is supported for use with OCS 2007 R2.
