I have tried many of the suggestions on this forum and others all without success.  If I try to repair the console, it says that the media I have is for another version of SBS when I am using the original disks.  I know that this is nearing EOL, however I need to get this cert updated on this server and don't know of any other way to do it.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

  • HI
1.did you mean you can open the cosole,we can click network and connectivity, but we can not click "fix my network" on sbs console panne?
2.run below command in command prompt(open as admin) and check if it will find some problem and solve your issue.
    sfc /scannow
    dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
    dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
3.do you have network problem now on SBS2011 ?
I don't know why update expried certificate and we need to  run "
    Fix My Network"

  • Here are my responses to your queries:

    1. Whenever I click on the Network-Connectivity tab, the console crashes

    2. I ran the commands listed and there was nothing wrong found by anything

    3. In order to replace an expired self-signed cert on SBS 2011, you need to run the 'Fix My Network' wizard as it does everything necessary.  I have no problems with the network, just an expired certificate.

If you can tell me another way to manually replace the expired cert with another self-signed cert, then I am all ears.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

  • I gave up and simply purchased a cert from a CA.  Installed it using the app directly.
