    What are the licensing terms for running a Guest OS (Windows 10 pro) on an Windows 10 Pro Host?

    Do I need a new License for this? I cannot activate the new install of the guest OS.

    All I want to do ist install some bloaty software that I need, but do not want to slow down the Host.

    Background Info

    I have upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 10. (2 Machines)

    After that I did a clean install on one of them.

    Das ist abhängig von deiner gekauften Version, ob sie inkl
    virtualisierungsrecht daherkommt.
     
    Bei Retail wohl eher nicht:

    Das liegt an deinem Update. Denn das ist für eine andere Hardware
    registriert. Du hast keinen Windows 10 Key ... ruf bei MS im
    AktivierungsCenter an.
