Regedit: "BootOptimizeFunction" RRS feed

  • Frage

  • Hello,

I've got a problem with. I wanted to optimize my new System for the SSD (Samsung 840 EVO 120GB) and check whether Windows configured the system properly. So finally I checked the regedit and had a look at the key "BootOptimizeFunction" (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Dfrg\BootOptimizeFunction). Actually this key should not exist, if Windows configured the system properly (according to this website (in German): http://www.pc-experience.de/wbb2/thread.php?threadid=30040/).

Now I don't know how to deal with that key. Should I change something or even delete the key?

    Here's a screenshot: http://s14.directupload.net/images/131224/l9xwngrp.png

I would be thankful if you have a look at the screenshot and help me.

    Thank you! :)
