As we have seen, MS is also able to implement the CalDav and CardDav support at least for windows phone.
In several threads, CalDav and CardDav support for Office 2013 has been discussed and declined for further (planned) development. It has been mentioned, that there are several 3rd-party addins covering these features. Nevertheless, they are unstable not
synchronizing everything (e.g. groups for CardDav) and also may cause data loss.
I would appreciate if Microsoft would go for a built-in solution in Office, which is working and does not cause any data losses! With the pre-release of Windows 10, you announced a new era, where your company will listen to the needs of their customers.
There are several custom cloud servers available open-source as well as providers such as Google, which provide CardDav and CalDav synchronisation. So here is your chance! :)
