DownloadContentFiles() failed with hr=0x80072ee3 RRS feed

    Hi guys

    I'm trying to deploy custom updates using SCUP & SCCM.

    SCUP 4.5, SCCM 2007 SP2/R2

     

    SCUP is able to download & publish the updates to WSUS.

    I did create the self signed cert & added it to the local Trusted Publishers & Trusted root stores.

     

    However, when the updates get synched to SCCM, and I try to download them in SCCM, I get the following error in the PatchDownloader.log:

    All "standard" Microsoft updates are working fine.

    I can go to the download location in internet explorer and it works fine.

     

    Any idea on how to troubleshoot?

    'Local system' wird verwendet. Dass es mit Deinem User-Account funktioniert sagt nichts aus.
    Starte einfach mal den IE im System-Kontext (geht am einfachsten mit psexec) und probier den Download nochmal.

    Wegen http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/de-DE/systemcenterde antworte ich einfach auf deutsch ..

    12003 = 0x80072ee3 = ERROR_INTERNET_EXTENDED_ERROR.
    Funktioniert denn der Download händisch (vom Server aus und im System-Kontext)? Firewall / Proxy dazwischen?

    Ah, dachte ich hab das englische Forum erwischt, sorry ;)

    Der download händisch mit meinem account funktioniert.

    Mit welchem account lädt er denn runter? Mit dem network service account?

    Firewall ist dazwischen, yap, kein proxy. (Aber wie gesagt, händisch funktioniert, sollte also eigentlich kein firewall problem sein)

    Gibt es eventuell irgendwo noch detailierte logfiles? (bin noch relativ neu in SCCM...)

    Vielen Dank, das war der entscheidende Hinweis!

    Mittels command line FTP & SYSTEM hat es funktioniert, aber mit dem IE & SYSTEM dann nicht.

    "Schuld" ist die lokale windows firewall, die das ganze für den IE irgendwie blockiert. Nach dem abschalten hat's geklappt.

    Werde das mal monitoren und die lokale Firewall dann entsprechend konfigurieren.
