i read a few weeks ago, something about cleaning up the storagepool, but cant find anything now, does anyone now if it is possible to cleanup the storagepool and how?
Well, yes and no - there is a "cleanup"job for DPM which normally runs around midnight (might be changed via registry key). This job is to prune shadow copies - so delete all data which is outside of the retention range from storage pool. I am not sure
if this is what you meant. The script is called pruneshadowcoipesdpm2010.ps1.
