Server 2016 - SMB Client/Connectivity EventID:30803 - Failed to establish a network connection

    Frage

  • Server 2016 Hyper-V hyperconverged cluster 2 nodes. No visible problems in any area.

    Cluster use two VLANs/IP subnets for SMB traffic: SMB1 and SMB2

    Every 12 seconds I have this event 4 times in Microsoft-Windows-SMBClient/Connectivity on both servers

    Here is event from Server 1.

    Failed to establish a network connection.
    Error: {Device Timeout}
    The specified I/O operation on %hs was not completed before the time-out period expired.
    Server name: fe80::311b:c8d3:c747:6872%14 - THIS IS FIRST SERVER MS Failover Cluster Virtual adapter
    Server address: [fd74:24b5:ff8d:19:172:16:1:2]:445 - THIS IS SECOND SERVER "SMB1" VLAN/SUBNET
    Connection type: Wsk
    Guidance:
    This indicates a problem with the underlying network or transport, such as with TCP/IP, and not with SMB. A firewall that blocks TCP port 445, or TCP port 5445 when using an iWARP RDMA adapter, can also cause this issue.

    IS THIS ANOTHER FAKE ALARM WHAT NOBODY CARES TO FIX???
