SCOM 2012 RTM nicht installierbar --> Abbruch bei DataWareHouse Installation RRS feed

    Hallo zusammen,

    mein OperationsManager-Test stellt sich leider zunehmend als schwierig heraus. Installiert habe ich es schon (Version von vor 4 Wochen), basierend auf einer MSSQL 2012 Datenbank. Leider stellte diese Installation nach zwei Wochen ihre Funktion ein; Fehlersuche war hier zu aufwändig; es konnten einige Dienste nicht mehr neu gestartet werden.

    Nun der neue Versuch, mit der neuesten Version von OperationsManager. Die Installation startet; es kann ein Datenbank-Connect sauber hergestellt werden, es wird die OperationsManager Datenbank eingerichtet, danach die Dateien für OperationsManager kopiert, danach versucht die Installationsroutine DataWarehouse einzurichten; bei diesem Step bricht die Installation ab.

    Hier ein Auszug aus dem Installationslog:

    Momentan komme ich nicht weiter. Die Berechtigungen stimmen und sind vorhanden. Letzen Endes wurde auch die OperationsManager Datenbank angelelegt.. Was passiert besonderes bei der DataWareHouse Einrichtung? Kann mir jemand einen Tipp geben, wie ich die Installation durchführen kann?

    Betriebssystem ist Windows 2008 R2 Standard, 64bit, Englisch (OperationsManager), beim SQL Server auch.

    soweit ist SQL 2012 von SCOM 2012 nicht supported. Hier der TechNet Artikel wo die Versionen geschrieben sind, die verwendet werden können:

    Hallo Raul,

    danke für die Antwort. Seltsam, dass die erste Installaton weitgehend ohne Fehler verlaufen ist.

    Bei der Stadt Köln werden wir ausschließlich SQL Server 2012 einsetzen, diese werden zur Zeit in Betrieb genommen. Bedeutet dies, dass eine Nutzung von SCOM 2012 für uns gestorben ist, weil die neueste Version der MICROSOFT Datenbank nicht unterstüzt wird?

    Sogar HP Operations Manager unterstützt jetzt schon SQL Server 2012.

    Sehr seltsam die Wege von Microsoft....

    Wieso sollten das seltsame Wege sein? Ich kann in diesem Fall nur von ConfigMgr sprechen, aber dort ist das Verhalten ähnlich. ConfigMgr 2012 wurde vor dem RTM von SQL 2012 released, also wird SQL 2012 noch nicht unterstützt (da Microsoft logischerweise noch keine Tests bzgl der Kompatibilität machen konnte, da das zu testende Produkt (SQL 2012) noch nicht verfügbar war). Das SP1 von ConfigMgr wird dann den Support für SQL 2012 bringen. An sich ein logisches Vorgehen - wenn auch in Deiner aktuellen Situation verständlicherweise ärgerlich.

    was das Zusammenspiel von Microsoft Produkten angeht, werde ich langsam wahnsinnig; habe nun auf der einen Seite SQL Server 2008 installiert, auf der anderen Seite SCOM, wieder schlägt die Installation im Data Warehouse - Teil fehl, hier ein kleiner Auszug:

    Seltsam: Auf die Datenbank kann zugegriffen werden, es wird auch die Datenbank für SCOM erstellt, danach installiert sich SCOM weiter, bis zu dem Teil, wo Data Ware House eingerichtet wird, hier schlägt etwas??? fehl und das Rollback beginnt.. es kann doch nicht so schwer sein, SCOM zum laufen zu bringen...

    Hallo zusammen,

    wieder ein Installationsversuch, diesmal wieder unter Nutzung von SQL Server 2008, englische Version, installiert auf deinem Windows Server 2008 (englisch).

    Die Installation startet an, folgende Steps werden erfolgreich durchlaufen:

      • Initial configuration
      • Operational database configuration
      • Management Server

    Danach startet der Installationsstep "Data warehouse configuration", hier bricht die Installationsroutine ab und startet Rollback.

    Folgende Fehler wurden gemeldet:

    Sowohl SQL Server als auch SCOM wurden unter einem Nutzeraccount installiert, der administrative Rechte auf beiden Systemen hat. Trotzdem, egal was ich probiere, immer Abbruch bei der DataWareHouse Installation.

    Hat jemand eine hilfreiche Idee?

    Hallo,

    auch wenn ich nach Anleitung installiere, kommt es zu einem Abbruch bei der DataWareHouse Installation. Die Anleitung ist auch nicht ganz so aktuell:

    •On the accounts screen, choose Domain Account for ALL services, and enter in the unique

    Dies ist z.B. bei der Installation von SCOM2007 so, aber nicht bei SCOM2012.

    Leider bleibt es dabei, SCOM scheint in unserer Umgebung nicht installierbar zu sein, obwohl alle genannten Voraussetzungen erfüllt sind.

    Hallo,

    ich habe gerade gesehen, dass es um SQL 2008 ging. Bis jetzt funktionierte es nicht mit SQL 2008, sondern nur mit SQL 2008 R2. Aber mit SP1 Beta für SCOM 2012 geht es jetzt auch mit SQL 2008. Siehe:

    Ich würde an dieser Stelle mit SP1 Beta und SQL 2008 versuchen und ansonsten Microsoft Support anrufen, um die Problematik zu lösen. Ich denke es sollte mit de Anleitung klappen, wenn man SP1 Beta und SQL 2008 benutzt.
