Email stuck in inbound Queue Exchange 2013

  • I am so close I can taste it! Argh.

    I just built a new 2013 server, I can send outbound to domains fine, but when I try and reply I'm seeing the email stuck in the queue.  I'm running this on a server 2012 box.  all the BPA's seem to be checking out fine.

    I'm new at this, sorry and thank you for those who assist!

  • Hello,

    Do you mean you can send mesages to external domain, but you can't receive messages from external domain? If so, please check if the "Anonymous Users" is enabled on receive connector named "Default Frontend <servername>".

    If the settings is ok, I suggest you check smtp receive protocol log.

  • I have the same problem and looks like there is no solution. The LOgs show that the emails arrive but get stuck and aren't delivered into the mailbox for each user. They stay in the queue with retry status.

    All the tests perform using the microsoft analyzer and can telnet into the server. Microsoft clients (including outlook 2016) connect fine internally or externaly using autodiscovery. It was working fine before applying the commercial ssl certificate. After that was done I corrected all the urls and tested. All the tests show fine but emails get stuck...

  • Did you find your problem ?? i have the same..

    everything was working fine since the installation (1 year ago) and i installed windows update and now

    all outbound email is going out, but inbound email are stuck in the queue
