    Hallo,

    ich habe ein Datacollector-DWH auf einem SQL 2012 Enterprise Server eingerichtet.

    Auf einem SQL 2008 R2 Cluster habe ich die SQL-Instanzen so konfiguriert, dass Sie die Daten in die Datenbank auf dem SQL 2012 Server schreiben sollen. Caching habe ich aktiviert und jede geclusterte Instanz schreibt die gecachten Daten in ein Verzeichnis auf das jeweils zugeordnete Clusterlaufwerk.

    Dabei bekomme ich ständig für die Komponenten "Disk Usage" und "Server Activity" beim Step TSQLQueryCollect den folgenden Fehler:
    An error occurred with the following error message: "Get DataType failed for Column 'wait_type'. : Index was outside the bounds of the array.".

    Die Komponente "Query Statistics" läuft dagegen fehlerfrei durch.

    Ist das ein Bug bzw. woran kann das liegen ?

    Hat überhaupt jemand den Datacollector in dieser Konstellation erfolgreich im Einsatz ?

    Same problem overhere! Also configured the MDW on SQL Server 2012 and enable the System Data Collection Set on a SQL Server 2008 R2 Server.

    An error occurred with the following error message: "Index was outside the bounds of the array.".

    Is there a solution, Microsoft?

    On which patch-level are you?

    I believe this was fixed.

    And yes, I do have customers running the MDW-Data Collector sets. I would in fact recommend it to most.

    I have the same issue and I reconfigured it many times but still do not help.
