    Hallo,

    seit einigen Monaten haben wir das Problem das auf einem unserer Server das Kumulative Monatliche Update nicht mehr erfolgreich eingespielt werden kann. Nach dem Reboot wird quasi das Update immer wieder zurückgenommen und taucht dann beim nächsten Update Check immer wieder auf.

    Im WindowsUpdate.log haben wir folgende Zeilen Identifiziert die wohl das Problem aufzeigen, nur leider haben wir bisher keine Lösung dafür finden können:

    Die Vorschläge aus dem folgenden Thread haben wir schon versucht, aber leider hat es zu keinem Erfolg geführt:

    Hallo,

    in der Zwischenzeit haben wir nun versucht das Update KB4284822 zu deinstallieren, das schlägt aber leider auch fehl.

    Gerade einmal das Update KB4467691 heruntergeladen und versucht manuell zu installieren. Aber leider kommt auch hier direkt eine Fehlermeldung.

    Es kann doch nicht sein das das System nun keine Kumulativen Updates mehr einspielen kann...

    Hallo Geraldo,

    gerade nachgeschaut. Das Update KB4132216 wurde am 30.05.2018 installiert. Ich gebe dir recht, das hätte es sein können, aber leider ist das nicht der Fall.

    Es ist irgendwie zum verrückt werden...

    Hi, ja das selbe Erlebnis (Fehlercode) "durfte" ich gerade mit einem anderen CU KB4467684 auf einem physischen Server erleben.

    0x800F0922

    Im "%systemroot%\Logs\CBS.log" steht dann:

     Failed to internally open package. [HRESULT = 0x800f0805 - CBS_E_INVALID_PACKAGE]
 CBS    Failed to OpenPackage using worker session [HRESULT = 0x800f0805]

    Deutet auf einen fehlerhaften "%systemroot%\WinSxS" Store hin, kann jedoch vielfältige Ursachen haben.

    Reparaturmaßnahmen:

    hab es nun ausprobiert. Aber auch hier bleibt es leider dabei das das Update erst installiert wird, und beim Reboot dann wieder zurückgenommen wird.

    Status ist leider unverändert...

    Mit eindeutigen (zusätzlichen) Fehlercodes könnte das Problem ev. noch eingegrenzt werden.

    Da der Ordner "SoftwareDistribution" ja schon mehrfach gelöscht und die Dateien dort drinne somit mehrfach neu heruntergeladen wurden. Habe ich bedenken hinsichtlich eines Fehlers in den Downloaddateien.
