  • Hi Team,

    does anyone know how to enable sender address without any @domain in exchange 2013

    i got below error when testing the email relay

    235 2.7.0 Authentication successful

    MAIL FROM:test

    501 5.1.7 Invalid address

    if using email address with domain no issue

    235 2.7.0 Authentication successful

    MAIL FROM:test@anydomain.com

    250 2.1.0 Sender OK

  • No, and for good reason.  My read of RFC 2821 says that it must have the @ symbol and domain.

    A correct mailbox address must contain a prefix and suffix.
