    Hallo zusammen,

    ist es möglich, den IE10 für Windows 7 über den WSUS zu installieren?

    Ich habe folgende Updates in WSUS importiert und zur Installation genehmigt:

    KB2718695:

    KB2670838:

    Das Plattformupdate lässt sich installieren.

    Die Installation des IE10 bricht ab; das Sprachpaket wird nicht eigens am Client angezeigt.

    Die IE10_main.log gibt Folgendes aus:

    Wo kann denn der Fehler liegen?

    Sieht so aus, als ob das egal wäre.

    Liefert leider keine weiteren Infos, welche Updates denn benötigt würden...

    Die Betriebssysteme sind alle mit einem deutschen Windows installiert.

    Wenn MS ihn für den WSUS freigegeben hat, dann ja. ;)

    Ich habe folgende Updates in WSUS importiert und zur Installation genehmigt:


    Und genau das ist das Problem. Offiziell gibt es den IE10 noch nicht im WSUS, das Produkt Team vom IE allein weiß weshalb nicht. Wenn Du weißt welche Pakete Du in welcher Reihenfolge installieren mußt, kannst Du es mit dem WSUS Package Publisher versuchen. Der bietet sehr viele zusätzliche Optionen, evtl. wäre das etwas für dich.

    Mit dem Patchday vom 08. Oktober 2013 ist auch der IE10 im WSUS für W7 und W2008R2 angekommen. Happy Patching! :)

    Geh mit diesem Rechner doch mal Online und lass ihn nach Updates suchen. Fehlen noch Updates? Alternativ kannst Du auch ein sfc /scannow ausführen.

    Online kann ich nicht nach Updates suchen, da nur über WSUS erlaubt.

    Aber sfc /scannow läuft nicht fehlerfrei durch:

    Sollte eine Windows-Reparatur durchgeführt werden?

    Du kannst natürlich in der CBS.log nach fehlerhaften Dateien suchen und die Prozedur zum reparieren ausführen lassen. Auch das hatte ich bei dem Problem-Client durchgeführt, zielführend war dann wirklich nur die Reparatur bzw. das sog. Inplace-Upgrade.
