Windows 10 Clients with Anniversary Update will no longer connect to Windows 2003 Server shares RRS feed

    It is no longer possible to use SMB shares of a Server 2003. The error message reads like the share is not available or permissions would be cached and wrong. I've tested this with several clients and different accounts (permissions).

    When trying to list the shares in Explorer like \\servername\ you cannot connect to the server either. IP / DNS / Ping is ok.

    Simoultaneously it is possible to connect to the server share / list shares using Windows 10 1511, Windows 7 SP1 with the same permissions.

    So again, Windows 10 Clients without Anniversary Update are not affected.
