    Habe bei einem Client folgenden Fehler bei der Clientpushinstallation:

    HRESULT=0x80070002
    Description=Cannot complete the System Center Endpoint Protection installation. An error has prevented the System Center Endpoint Protection setup wizard from completing successfully. Please restart your computer and try again. Error code:0x80070002. The system cannot find the file specified

    Kann mir da wer weiterhelfen...

    Was passiert denn, wenn Du diese Command-Line manuell in einer cmd ausführst? Ggfs auch ohne die Parameter "/s /q" probieren. Sind die erwähnten Dateien (SCEPInstall.exe und EPAMPolicy.xml) an den genannten Stellen vorhanden? Ist bereits ein AV-/AM-Client vorhanden?

    Vielen Dank...

    Nach langer Suche funktioniert es nun --> Eine Fremdsoftware hat die Installation geblockt!

    Client Push und System Center Endpoint Protection haben keine direkte Verbindung zueinander. Erst kommt der Client Push und dann wird SCEP - sobald Policies dafür empfangen werden - installiert/konfiguriert.
    Was wurde gemacht? Wo taucht der Fehler auf?

    Überwachung--> Systemstatus --> Standortstatus

    --> Softwareupdatepunkt (Status Kritisch)

    Und wo ist hier der Zusammenhang zum Client Push?
    Dann antworte ich einfach mal passend zu Deinem Frage-Stil: %windir%\CCM\Logs\EndPointProtectionAgent.log

    Der Client ist installiert, nur der FEP leider nicht--->

    Dateien sind beide vorhanden!

    Die SCEPInstall.exe bricht mit einem Fehler ab...

    Gibt es ein Log, worin nähere Informationen (Inkompabilitäten etc.) zu finden sind?

    Bloss gut, dass ich danach bereits vor längerem gefragt hatte und meine Frage überlesen oder ignoriert worden ist ...
