Windows 2008R2 Aktivierung der Evaluation Lizenz mit SystemBuilder Key? RRS feed

    Hallo,<o:p></o:p>

    Ich habe zwar schon 80% der gewünschten Antwort in einem anderen Beitrag gelesen, aber leider finde ich den jetzt nicht mehr. Also hier der Sachverhalt:<o:p></o:p>

    Ich
    installiere VM's mit Hilfe der 180Tage-Evaluierungslizenz um die Wartezeit bis zur Lieferung der bestellten Systembuilder Lizenzen zu überbrücken. Da es später viele VM's werden sollen, entschieden wir uns die DataCenter Edition der Systembuilder Lizenz zu bestellen. Die VM's dagegen laufen alle mit dem
    Standard-OS.<o:p></o:p>

    Meine Frage:<o:p></o:p>

    Kann ich mit Hilfe der Systembuilder Lizenz-Keys (W2k8R2-DataCenter) alle zwischenzeitlich erstellten VM's (W2k8R2-Standard) aktivieren und rechtlich sauber betreiben?<o:p></o:p>

    Ich gehe davon aus, dass das so funktioniert, brauche aber dringend eine offizielle Bestätigung.<o:p></o:p>

    Hallo MarcusZi,
     
    Da hast Du schlechte Karten, der Schlüsselwechsel von Evaluierung auf regulär
    funktioniert zwar, allerdings hast Du dann keinen Support von Microsoft.
     
    Evaluierungssoftware ist nun einmal zum Testen und NICHT für Produktivsysteme
    gedacht.
     
     
    "Question: Can you convert the evaluation version to a full version?
    Answer: Although this conversion is not blocked, we do not support an upgrade
    from an evaluation version to a full version or changing the product key
    to a full version key. To upgrade to a full version, you must install non-evaluation
    media. If you change the product key to Full Version, the visual evaluation
    references in Winver and as displayed in Slmgr /DLV output are removed, but
    the WLMS service remains on the system and the media retains its evaluation
    status."

    vielen Dank für die rasche Antwort. Auch wenn es nicht die ist, die ich erhofft hatte ...

    So sparen wir uns zwar keine Zeit aber viel Arbeit und Ärger.
