Hallo zusammen,
ich versuche gerade erfolglos ein Betriebssystem per PXE Boot zu installieren. Die Installation ohne PXE Boot (über das Software Center, damit er "sich selbst" neu installiert) funktioniert ohne Probleme.
Der Bootvorgang bleibt bei "DHCP.._" hängen und läuft in nach einiger Zeit in einen Timeout:
"Boot failure. Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device"
Am DHCP-Server sieht man, dass der Client PC eine Lease erhält. Es handelt sich auch nicht um ein Netzwerkproblem. Ich habe test weise einen anderen PXE-Dienst auf einem anderen Server im gleichen Netz installiert (und nun natürlich wieder runtergefahren),
hier hat der PXE Boot funktioniert.
Folgende DHCP-Optionen sind aktiv:
- 060 PXEClient PXEClient
- 066 Boot Server Host Name IP des SCCM Servers
- 067 Bootfile Name smsboot\x64\pxeboot.com
Zusätzlich ist PXE technisch folgendes konfiguriert:
SCCM Console: \Administration\Overview\Distribution Points
Right Click the DP and select properties.
Under the tab “PXE”, check “Enable PXE support for clients”
Check “Allow this distribution point to respond to incoming PXE Requests”
"Enable unknown computer support"
From the SCCM Console: \Software Library\Overview\Operating Systems\Boot Images
Right click the boot image and select “Properties”
On the “Data Source” tab mark
“Deploy this boot image from the PXE service point”
Auf dem WDS-Server selbst: PXE Response Policy
Respond to all client computers (known and unkown)
Die erstellte Task Sequence wird test weiße auf "All Systems" angewendet was auch soweit funktioniert (bei bereits installieren Windows Systemen).
Ein PXE Boot kommt aber leider nicht zustande.
Das SMSPXE.log zeigt, dass er wohl in einer Schleife hängt:
