scheduled NTBackup jobs are failing RRS feed

    Hi all,

    anyone an idea?
    On my Win2k3 Servers all scheduled Ntbackupjobs are failing since a few weeks.
    It has been working. One peer has installed Arcronis some time ago. Since then we're facing
    this kind of trouble.
    If I RDP in to this machines I can copy the job into dos promot and Backup succeeds.

    When checking Backuplogs, it is blank. In Applog just only 8019 NTBackup

    Hi Jürgen,

    maybe you'd changed the Password of the Account, the job's runnning in? Maybe this is the cause, why the job is running by copy it into CLI. I would try to set the Passwords in Scheduler again.

    Hi Michael,

    this indeed not the issue. I changed this from the accout which has more than necessary
    permissions to local system. Not even this fixed the issue.

    Turning this back and verifying the account and password didn't solve the issue.

    Try it again directly at the console/screen, not via RDP
