OSD-Tasksequence Error 0x80072F78 - Clients retrieve no policies RRS feed

    Hello,
    we´ve the problem that we are not able to install  OSD-tasksequences for some days, everytime after i entered the OSD password, the client tries to receive a policy for a few minutes but then stops with the error message 0x80072F78. All components that you can see in the ConfigMgr Console are ok, no warnings, no errors.

    I´ve tried the following to get it working again, but nothing helped
    - upgraded our virtual (vmware) sccm from 2012R2CU2 to 2012R2CU5
    - installed available windows-updates
    - created a new collection and a new task sequence with some clients
    - checked the bios clock of the clients
    - checked the date and time of the sccm-server
    - pressed F8 after the error comes up... the client gets an ip address and is able to ping the sccm-server (with FQDN too)
    - restored the server from a two weeks old image... same error again
    - checked the sccm-accounts for deployment etc.
    - checked all components, no warnings, no errors
    - recreated boot images
    - checked the filter drivers, deinstalled symantec antivirus, ran symantec-cleanwipe..., only filter driver is luafv

    Das Problem war die Unternehmensfirewall.., nach einem Update funktionierte eine Regel scheinbar nicht mehr korrekt, jetzt läuft wieder alles. Vielen Dank für eure Unterstützung!

    0x80072F78 = Der Server lieferte eine ungültige oder unbekannte Rückmeldung. Source: Winhttp

    Ich würde mal auf ein Problem mit dem Management Point tippen. mpcontrol.log ok? Ist zeitlich korrelierend etwas in den IIS-Logs des MP zu finden?

    Im Verzeichnis C:\Program Files\SMS_CCM\SMS_MP sowie C:\Program Files\SMS_CCM\SMS_FSP sind keine IIS Dateien / Logs vorhanden. Sind die Logs an anderer Stelle zu finden oder sollten hier eigentlich die Logs sein?

    Ok, habe die Logs unter C:\inetpub\logs\LogFiles\... gefunden
    Da kann ich allerdings nur Einträge dieser Art finden:

    192.168.x.x CCM_POST /ccm_system_windowsauth/request - 80 domain\admin 192.168.x.x  ccmhttp 200 0 64 3398 23

    oder

    192.168.x.x POST /SMS_FSP/.sms_fsp - 80 - 192.168.x.x  ccmhttp 200 0 0 149 2

    und jede Menge weiterer Einträge, aber keine Warnungen oder Fehler

    In der MP_policy.log sind etliche Fehler zu finden.

    192.168.x.x POST /SMS_FSP/.sms_fsp - 80 - 192.168.x.x  ccmhttp 200 0 0 149 2



    Dieses Log mit cmtrace.exe öffnen und schauen, ob zum Zeitpunkt des Fehlers überhaupt etwas im Log steht (also mind. http 200 oder eben ein http-Fehler). Wenn gar nichts auftauchen sollte, dann erreicht der Client den MP gar nicht.

    Wieso sollte eine Neuinstallation des MPs etwas bringen, wenn der Client diesen nicht erreicht?
    Funktioniert denn der Rest (also zB Installation eines Packages oder einer Application)?

    Nein, auch der Rest bereitet Probleme.. ich habe testweise mal ein Paket zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Paket kann ich auch im Softwarecenter eines Win7 Clients sehen, allerdings nicht installieren. "Derzeit kann die Software auf keinem Server gefunden werden"

    Ich dachte, falls der MP die Fehlerquelle ist, könnte ein erneutes Installieren evtl. die Fehler beheben. Ich weiß auch nicht, an welcher Stelle man noch ansetzen könnte.

    Wenn der Client das Paket im Softwarecenter sieht, dann wären die Logs des Clients interessant.

    Eine einzelne Zeile aus einem Log hilft in den wenigsten Fällen, da diese völlig zusammenhangslos und aus dem Kontext gerissen ist. 

    Gehen denn mplist und mpcert (https://technet.microsoft.com/de-de/library/Bb932118.aspx)?

    Das Problem war die Unternehmensfirewall.., nach einem Update funktionierte eine Regel scheinbar nicht mehr korrekt, jetzt läuft wieder alles. Vielen Dank für eure Unterstützung!
