GPO Laufwerkzuordnung Unterordner RRS feed

    Hallo,

    wir verwenden Loginscripts beim Starten von Windows 8 um mehrere Laufwerke zu verbinden.
    Wir verwenden Freigaben von einen WindowsServer2008R2 Server und verbinden diese mit einer GPO unter Laufwerkzuordnungen bei unseren PCs.

    Leider funktioniert dies nur solange bis kein Unterordner mit net use verbunden werden soll.

    Beispiel:
    Speicherort: \\ALDFS01\Entwicklung\WP
    Verwenden: F:\
    Laufwerk einblenden, alle Laufwerke einblenden
    Im Sicherheitskontext des angemeldeten Benutzers
    Element entfernen, wenn es nicht mehr angewendet wird
    Zielgruppenadressierung (Sicherheitsgruppe) gewählt

    * Server: ALDFS01
    * Freigabe: Entwicklung
    * Ordner unterhalb der Freigabe: WP

    Es funktioniert aber nur soweit das ich auf \Entwicklung lande und nicht richtig unter \Entwicklung\WP ...
    Was muss ich beachten das es trotzdem klappt?

    Bei WindowsXP oder Windows7 klappt es ohne Probleme nur bei Windows8 funktionier es nur wie oben beschrieben.

    Was ein Workaround wäre, wenn auch etwas "dirty":

    Du nutzt GPP Registry und setzt einfach die entsprechenden Keys:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Network\DRIVELETTER

    Hey,

    danke für den Tipp mit der Registry.

    Ich werde es mal versuchen dort den Wert "RemotePath" zu ändern.
    Bin derzeit nicht in der Firma daher kann ich es nur schwer testen.

    Mal zuhause gibt es genau diese Einträge und wenn ich es dort ändere (via regedit) dann funktionier es.

    Jetzt daher über die GPO und sehen ob das hilft, ist zwar dann eine "dirty" Lösung wie du sagst aber okay :-]

    Ich melde mich sobald ich es probieren konnte..

    Theoretisch kannst du sogar Group Policy Preferences Drive Maps und Group Policy Preferences Registry
    verwenden, da die GPP Registry CSE nach der GPP Drive Maps CSE läuft.

    Ob das funktioniert hängt allerdings dann wieder von den Einstellungen deines GPP Drives Items ab.
    Würde ich lassen.

    Setze einfach die Registry Keys mittels GPP Registry.
    Sollte es hier Probleme geben, kann es sein dass man noch einmal etwas am Policy Processing ändern muss
    (http://gps.cloudapp.net/#2302 und ggf. http://gps.cloudapp.net/#1839)

    Hey,

    also entweder funktioniert es nicht oder ich mach etwas falsch.

    Ich gehe her und setzte mit "Benuzterkonfiguration" > "Einstellungen" > "Registrierung" folgendes:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Network\F
    Name: RemotePath / Type: REG_SZ / Daten: \\ALDFS01\Entwicklung\WP

    Dieses funktioniert aber überhaupt nicht und ich habe aber auch gesehen das nach dem erfolgreichen Login der RegOrdner "Network" komplett leer ist und nicht mit den Laufwerksbuchsstaben wie bei mir Zuhause ...

    Daher dürfe die "Laufwerkzuordnung" via GPO dies ohne Registryeinträge machen?

    Erst einmal ein kleines Update meinerseits, da ich eigentlich einen Blog-Artikel über dieses Problem schreiben wollte,
    habe ich Gestern noch einmal versucht das Problem zu reproduzieren.

    Leider ist mir das nicht gelungen, weder unter Windows 7 noch Windows 8.

    Irgendetwas läuft bei dir ziemlich schief.
    Fangen wir doch noch einmal vorne an.

    1. Aktiviere bitte einmal das Tracing der GPP Drives CSE:

    2. Poste einmal deine XML Datei des GPP Items:
    Dazu musst du in der GPMC auf das jeweilige Element klicken (Rechtsklick) dann auf All Tasks > Display Xml

    2. Poste einmal deine XML Datei des GPP Items:
    Dazu musst du in der GPMC auf das jeweilige Element klicken (Rechtsklick) dann auf All Tasks > Display Xml

    also ich habe nun das Tracing bei GPP eingeschalten aber trotzdem bekomme ich keine Logfiles.

    Wird das Logfile überhaupt erzeugt?
    Du musst innerhalb der Tracingeinstellungen auch noch einmal das Tracing explizit auf "On" stellen.

    Hast du als Aktion "Replace / Ersetzen" gewählt?

    Zum zweiten Fehler 0x80070035:
    Gibt irgendwelche Mappings die nicht mehr erreichbar sind?

    1) Ja ich habe "Replace/Ersetzen" gewählt falls noch Laufwerke vorhanden wären.

    2) Nein alle Mappings sind problemlos erreichbar.

    Weiteres habe ich den Artikel gelesen und wenn ich den Mount via "net use" (cmd) ausführe dann klappt es auch mit dem Unterordner. (Daher habe ich ja vorher versucht ein Loginscript als Batchjob via GPO mit "beim Anmelden am PC" auszuführen nur dort funktioniert der idente Befehl dann gleich fehlerhaft wie derzeit.

    Das XML File kann ich erst Morgen testen.

    Was mir noch auf die Schnelle aufgefallen ist, removePolicy="1".

    Lösche doch bitte zur Sicherheit einmal alle Historyfiles in %allusersprofile%\Microsoft\Group Policy\History\{GUID}\SID\Preferences.

    SID steht für die SID des Users.

    PS:

    Werden die normalen Laufwerke gemapped wie z.B. "\\ALDIN01\scans"?

    Guten morgen,

    1) Habe nun die Historyfiles entfernt, ohne Änderungen.

    2) Ja, alle Laufwerke werden problemlos gemappt nur eben alle Laufwerke die nach der Freigabe einen unterordner besitzten zeigen auf die Freigabe und nicht auf dessen Unterordner.

    \\ALDFS01\EDV => zeigt auf 'EDV', richtig
    \\ALDDC01\Home\%USERNAME% => zeigt auf 'Home', daher nur auf den Überordner das falsch ist

    OK, ich sehe du hast du Reconnect Option nicht aktiviert.
    Dann ist der Schlüssel in der Tat leer.

    Was etwas seltsam ist, net use zeigt an, dass die Laufwerke korrekt verbunden wären.

    ALDFS01

    Da der Servername den Namen DFS beinhaltet, handelt es sich um einen DFS Namespace?

    Wenn ja, mappe bitte einmal ein anderes Share von einem nicht-DFS Namespace incl. Unterordner.

    Versuche bitte auch einmal die Reconnect Option zu aktivieren ("Verbindung wiederherstellen" in den Eigentschaften des GPP Items).
    Was ergibt der "reg query HKCU\Network" /v dann?

    1) also DFS sind beide nicht. Es gibt noch ein weiteres Laufwerk (das ich hier nicht gemappt bekomme) das ein DFS wäre aber diese 2 sind normale Shares.

    Der Server beinhaltet nur durch zufall den Begriff "DFS" - die ersten 3 sind der Standort und die 2 Folgezeichen den Server, die Zahl die Laufnummer. In dem Fall heißt daher das FS = FileServer :-]

    2) habe versucht die Option "Reconnect" zu aktivieren. Leider hat es dann gar keine Laufwerke mehr gemappt mit dieser Option, daher wieder deaktiviert. Im Logfile (Tracing bei GPP) steht folgendes nachdem ich das Reconnect aktiviert habe.

    => Und der HKCU\Network war leer

    Hallo,

    Leider ist in diesem Logfile auch nicht wirklich ein Fehler ersichtlich.

    Das Einzige was zu erwähnen wäre ist

    Properties handled. [ hr = 0x80070035 "Der Netzwerkpfad wurde nicht gefunden." ]

    Allerdings ist dies nicht eins der betroffenen Laufwerke.

    Schnapp dir bitte einmal einen "sauberen" neu installierten Testrechner ohne Virenscanner.
    Wird die Policy dort angewandt?

    ich versuche einen Rechner mit einer Windows 8 Testlizenz aufzusetzten und den ohne Zusatzsoftware und Virenscanner in die Domaine zu nehmen und nachzusehen ob die GPO dort zieht.. ich melde mich

    Hallo Mario,

    Leider bin ich hier mit meinen Möglichkeiten ziemlich am Ende.
    Ohne direkten Zugriff auf das System ist es schwierig.

    Was mich immer noch irritiert, dass ebenfalls laut net use die Laufwerke korrekt verbunden sind.

    Werden die Laufwerke aus einem CMD-prompt ebenfalls falsch angesprochen?
    Beispiel:

    Bist du jetzt auf \\ALDFS01\Entwicklung\WP oder \\ALDFS01\Entwicklung?

    Wenn du manuell ein Laufwerk mappst (mittels net use oder explorer) wird das Laufwerk genauso angezeigt wenn du einen net use ausführst?

    wenn ich händisch das laufwerk mounte zeigt net use das laufwerk komplett ident an nur im explorer oder mittels cmd wird es richtig gemountet.

    Die GPO habe ich damals ja neu angelegt und durch einen Batchjob durch diese GPO ersetzt.
    Daher ist sie ja neu.

    Wäre super wenn dein Kunde eventuell Infos hätte, Norbert. Danke inzwischen

    Ich kann hier das gleiche Problem nachvollziehen und doktore auch noch dran herum.

    Was auffällig ist: Das ganze tritt auf, wenn ich lokaler Admin bin. Melde ich mich als Standard-User oder (Original-)Domain-Admin an, werden die Laufwerke korrekt gemappt.

    Hier noch ein paar mehr Beobachtungen, die ich gemacht habe:

    1. Die Netzlaufwerke werden (wie von Mario G BLL berichtet) mit NET USE immer korrekt angezeigt, unabhängig von einer elevated Shell.
    2. Startet man den Windows Explorer elevated, hat dieser die Netzlaufwerke ebenfalls korrekt gemappt.
    3. Startet man den Windows Explorer non-elevated, zeigt er die Netzlaufwerke korrekt gemappt an, verweist aber auf den Root-Folder des Shares.

    Zur Infrastruktur:

    • Es werden Laufwerke von Win 2003 Servern (SP1) gemappt.
    • Die Policy "EnableLinkedConnections" ist aktiv.
    • Im (nun doch endlich auftauchenden) Trace steht die Meldung Failed to connect drive with restricted token. [ hr = 0x80070055 "The local device name is already in use." ]
    • Die Laufwerke werden alle mit den folgenden Optionen gemappt: Replace, Non-Reconnect, Run in logged-on user's context, Remove this item whet it is no longer applied

    Mein Bauchgefühl sagt mir, auch hier wird wohl wieder ein Bug vergraben sein.

    Wir hatten ein ähnliches Problem mit dem Drive Mapping unter Windows 8 (deshalb auch die Frage nach dem Update):

    Hallo Norbert,

    jein. Der genannte Fix (KB2795944) zielt laut zuständigem Escalation Engineer auf einen anderen Sachverhalt ab. Gemäß interner Microsoft-Dokumentation ist bei diesem Fix kein Bezug zum hier diskutierten Sachverhalt gegeben. Die freundlichen 1st Level Engineers scheinen darüber jedoch nicht wirklich Bescheid zu wissen, da auch ich gefragt wurde, ob ich denn bereits diesen Fix installiert hätte (was ich natürlich tue, bevor ich einen Case aufmache).

    Gemeinsam mit dem Escalation Engineer konnten allerdings folgende Verhalten herausgearbeitet werden:

    1. NET USE zeigt ((un-)elevated) immer ein korrektes Mapping an, unabhängig, ob dies stimmt, oder nicht.
    2. Der Sachverhalt tritt unabhängig des Registry-Settings "EnableLinkedConnections" auf.
    3. Wird ein Mapping im User-Kontext durchgeführt, verweisen diese im Admin-Kontext auf das Share-Root.
    4. Wird ein Mapping im Admin-Kontext durchgeführt, verweisen diese im User-Kontext auf das Share-Root.
    5. Im Kontext, in dem das Mapping stattfindet, wird auf den korrekten Subfolder gemappt.

    Wie bei Microsoft üblich, garantiert mal wieder keiner für einen Fix und es wird offen gelassen, das ganze notfalls als "by design" zu deklarieren. Von daher könnte es hilfreich sein / werden, dass hier möglichst viele beschreiben, unter welchen Umständen sie von diesem Sachverhalt betroffen sind. Aus Erfahrung bewirkt die Erhöhung des Drucks manchmal Wunder in der Bearbeitung auf Microsoft-Seite.

    Ich habe in meinem Case auf diesen Thread verwiesen und auch schon dem Escalation Engineer mitgeteilt, dass ich versuchen werde, hier möglich viele Betroffene zu bündeln.

    Hallo Zusammen,

    ich konnte folgende Lösung für uns evaluieren:

    Deaktivieren der Policy EnableLinkedConnections.

    Seitens Microsoft scheint bereits mit Windows 7 eine entsprechende Änderung im System stattgefunden zu haben, so dass ohne diese Policy die DriveMappings korrekt ausgeführt werden (können). Für Windows Vista ist die Policy allerdings nach wie vor erforderlich.
