Update Deployment Type and let the Client know the changes made RRS feed

  • Frage

  • Hello Everyone,

since I'm trying to figure out some stuff in SCCM atm, I often have to change things in the deployment Type for my Applications to look out for the difference.

So for example I'm trying to install an Application via Script deployment but after I first tested it I noticed i made a mistake with the installation command line.

When i change the command line now, do I have to delete the currrent deployment and re-deploy it to get the new command line working or is there another way?

    Kind regards.

No need to delete the deployment. Clients will receive the updated command line during the next policy polling cycle. This will only be effective for clients that haven't executed the deployment type yet.
