Problems with text messages (SMS) and Outlook 2010 / Exchange 2010 RRS feed

  • Frage

  • Hi,

I've installed Exchange 2010 on W2K8 R2 Ent. and configured my Windows Mobile 6.5 device for ActiveSync via Exchange Server. Mail Client on my Workstation is Outlook 2010 running on Windows Vista x64.

I'm experiencing several problems with sending and receiving sms via Outlook 2010:

    1) In my Inbox, I can only see the full SMS message text in the left pane with the whole content of my inbox. In the preview pane and also if I open the test message I only see the first letter. With sent text massages I'm not experiencing this problem.
    2) I'm only able to reply to text messages (SMS). When I type in the Mobilenumber manually (exactly as when replying), I get "Microsoft Outlook does not recognize "+49...". I found out that I'm able to use my addressbook when I add a new E-Mail address (!) to an existing contact using the number to which I already replied. Again, I'm not able to type in the number manually ("Microsoft Outlook does not recognize "+49...").
    3) Why is Outlook not using the Mobilenumber in the existing field "Mobile..." under Phone Numbers of a contact?

I'm not an Exchange or Outlook Pro, just using ActiveSync via Exchange for 2 years now and was curious to test this new feature. Is anybody else experiencing these problems? I didn't find anything related in the Office 2010 forum yet...

    regards
    Chrissan
