Auswertung der installierten Updates (Win32_QuickFixEngineering)

Hallo, ich möchte ein paar Reports über die installierten Updates erstellen. Dazu müsste ich in der Hardwareinventarisierung den "Win32_QuickFixEngineering" WMI Class aktivieren. Daraufhin bin ich auf nachfolgende Warnung gestoßen:

“DO NOT: Enable the Win32_QuickFixEngineering class unless you have installed the QFE for Q279225. Enabling this class without the QFE will result in inventory cycles taking a very long time to complete on the client and the WINMGMT service using 99% to 100% CPU time and leaking memory.”

Betrifft die Warnung nur Windows 2000 Systeme oder tritt das Problem mit der Auslastung von WINMGMT und Dauer der Inventarisierung bei den aktuellen Systemen wie z.B. Win Srv 2003, Win Srv 2008 / 2008 R2, Win Srv 2012 /2012 R2.

Ist das empfehlenswert den WMI-Class "Win32_QuickFixEngineering" zu aktivieren?

Mir auch nicht. Beachte aber, dass nicht alle installierten Updates dort zu finden sind.

Starting with Windows Vista, this class returns only the updates supplied by Component Based Servicing (CBS). These updates are not listed in the registry. Updates supplied by Microsoft Windows Installer (MSI) or the Windows update site (http://update.microsoft.com) are not returned by Win32_QuickFixEngineering.
