I'm using the Microsoft Baseline Security Analizer 2.1.1 on a Windows XP SP3 machine. By doing a scan about our domain, I don't receive results from Windows 7 clients and W2k8 R2 servers.
I'm now a little bit confused because as far as I understand, the version 2.1.1 is recommended for Win 7 and W2k8 R2.
I found no solution, but I made the mistake to post the question before the scan was completed. After the scan I got the report that the WUA is not compatible to the OS Windows 7.
In fact that the actual MBSA version was used to perform the scan, I assume that it's actually not possible to perform a remote scan on Win7 systems from a XP client.
