  Back to your question:

  1. You have to consider if your Hyper-V Host goes down. Covering this can be achieved by using a Hyper-V Host Cluster to restart your Lync VMs on another node
  2. Availability for Lync Front-End servers will be achivied by installing them in a pool and using load balancing technologies

  Hallo Bernd,

  die Deutsche Sprache liegt mir sowieso besser :)

  also in unserer Serverumgebung haben wir bereits ein Hyper-V Cluster, doch wir möchten das ganze zusätzlich absichern, ich hab mir schon gedacht das dies in die richtige Richtung geht, also installiere ich einfach einen zweiten Lync Server und füge diesem dem Standard Pool hinzu, oder muss ich da auch nochmal alles durchkonfigurieren? (Gateway, Wahlregeln, ...)

  Wir sind momentan froh das wir das System so am laufen haben wie wir uns das vorgestellt haben, deswegen würde ich gerne wissen wie aufwendig das ist einen zweiten Lync Server hinzuzufügen. :)

  Über den Aufwand kann ich Dir leider nichts sagen. Aber wir haben hier ein Forum zum Lync-Server dort wäre Deine Frage gut aufgehoben:
