Call Transfer with AudioCodes MP-11x FSX RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi!

    I have integrate AudioCodes MP-118 FSX box with Lync 2013. When I try to make call transfer from GW extension to the Lync extension which was failed. Except call transfer other features are working (Call forwarding).

    Scenario:

    1. 100 (GW Ext)---call---> 101 (GW Ext) ------- 101 will transfer 100 ext to the +2001 (Lync user)

    Error for GW Syslog  (This error for Lync server)

    SIP/2.0 481 Call Leg/Transaction Does Not Exist

    2. +2001 (LyncClient) ------call -----> 101 GW Ext------ 101 will transfer, 2001 call to the 100

    Error for GW Syslog  (This error for Lync server)

    SIP/2.0 405 Method Not Allowed

    Thanks...

Answers

  • You should still hang the MP on the MSBG and try to troubleshoot it. Did you dive in to the logs? See what you get from the logging tool or running Wireshark on the mediation server.

  • This is the reason why the MPxx series ATA s are not certified to integrate with Lync server platform. The recommendation is to use a Mediant MSBG between the mediation server and the MPxx so that the MSBG will talk to the both the end point in a language that they both can understand.

  • Remover refer support from Lync and try again.
