MIcrosoft Office 2010 Word Printing: "Without letter B" RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We are trying to print a document in the file format .doc in Microsoft Office Word 2010. Of course, we are running into an issue. When we try to print all the pages at once, it prints select pages without the letter B or a number of other symbols. HOWEVER, when we print those select pages individually, it prints those pages with the all the correct letters and symbols. The print job prints incorrectly when selecting to print all 11 pages. I checked the driver for the printer- it seems to be in good working order. The color printer is a Kyocera FS-C5150DN KX. The printer is shared from a print server to the terminal server we are trying to print on.

    Print Server: Windows Server 2008

Terminal Server: Windows Server 2008 R2

Anyone run into an issue like this? Help would be much obliged.

  • Hm. This seems to be a driver issue- Works on another printer... Let me try updating the driver.

  • Definitely a driver problem. Office apps don't print. It's a handoff to the Operating System, which relies on the print dirver.
