Associating different initiation form to OOTB Workflow?

Hi,

I saw a way to modify OOTB workflow template in this article. http://www.sharemuch.com/2011/05/06/modifying-out-of-the-box-sharepoint-2010-workflow-form-templates/ But I don't wish to overwrite the OOTB template. I just want to make a copy of it and try to associate the form to OOTB workflow. Is there anyway I could change the workflow association or defining custom workflow definition schema base on OOTB workflow?

Hi Leo,

You can find the OOTB workflow template in SharePoint Designer 2010 lefe Site Objects -> Workflows, and then right-click the workflow, copy and rename it, then you can customize and publish the copied workflow, including customize the initial InfoPath form.

Then you can select and use the copied workflow in OOTB adding workflow page for a list.
