Getting BSOD when trying to boot from Vista CD RRS feed

    I am trying to format my HDD an reinstall Vista HP.  When I insert my Cd into the drive and restart, I get the option to press any key to boot from Cd which I do.  Then after the windows is loading files progress bar reaches 100% I get a BSOD:

    0x0000000A (0xD9A054E, 0x000000002, 0x000000000, 0x888BA8D7) IRQ_not_less_or_equal_to


    My pc spec is:

    Intel Quad Q6700

    4x1GB Ram

    Nforce motherboard

    This is a kernel mode crash issue. The error message is DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. Generally it occurs when a driver tried to access an address that is pageable (or that is completely invalid) while the IRQL was too high.


    To troubleshoot this kind of kernel crash issue, we need to debug the crashed system dump. Unfortunately, debugging is beyond what we can do in the forum.
