Office 365 ProPlus won't activate after we lock down the Windows Store using AppLocker in Windows 10 RRS feed

  • Hi there,

    Because a customer doesn't use Windows 10 Enterprise or Education (they use pro), we can't lock down the Windows Store using Group Policies.

    There is an official Microsoft Docs article telling how to lock down the Windows Store using AppLocker.
    However when we do this, new computers have issues activating Office.

    The moment we open the Windows Store back up, the issue resolves itself.
    Is there a way to lock down the Windows Store without having Office activation issues?
    I am also a bit curious why this happends, the Windows Store is nowhere found in any document regarding Office Activation requirements.
