Import ranges and scopes to IPAM with script. RRS feed

  • Hi

I have installed Microsoft IPAM featur on a ws2012 and configured it and it works, but it will not import all scopes and ranges into IPAM. I also had problems with importing the inventory at first. But this problem we solved with a power shell script. But still cant solv the problem to get all the scopes and ranges into IPAM.

    I tryed this script below.

    Import-IpamRange -Path "C:\IPLogs\DhcpScopeTest.csv" -AddressFamily IPv4

I exported a csv file out of my DHCP that I try to import into IPAM.

Is there somthing that I need to think of when it comes to the csv file. For exampel, I want to know what´s the mandatory fields (kategorys like networkID, Subnetmask...) that IPAM requires when importing from DHCP, and what are these?
And I aslo heard that IPAM cant handle subnetet scopes and ranges is this true?
