Status report time

We recently spun up a new WSUS server (Server 2012 R2/WSUS 6.3.9600.18324) and forgot to update the time zone from PST to EST until after the WSUS role was installed and clients started reporting. The client status report times in the WSUS console still appear as 3 hours off (PST). This happens only under the Administrator login, other users report correct time. Is there a registry setting to correct this?

Hi techrep,

The time zone in WSUS is not configurable, WSUS stores all time internally. Please check the explanation by Lawrence Garvin in the following post:

So, as far as I'm concerned, please check if the clients indeed report to WSUS server in time, you may check the windows update log of the clients to check the report time.

On the clients do not report to the WSUS server, I would recommend reset windows update components:

Then run wuauclt/ detectnow in cmd, check if clients will report.

On the WSUS server, please run Server Cleanup Wizard.
