    I have a Windows XP and Windows server 2003 duel boot on my laptop. Since I have installed Win2k3 it has never shut down in normal way! I select shut down option but 'Logging Off' screen comes, but it never results in it automatic shut down. I need to press power button for shut down the system. Can anyone help me to resolve this issue?

    Hi,

     

    I don’t think the issue will caused by the dual boot.

     

    The issue may cause my third-party applications, you can boot the Windows Server 2003 system info Safe Mode to check whether you get the same issue. You can also perform the further research as the following KB.
