RRAS MMC Snap-In for Windows 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Will this ever be made available?

From what I've read, the omission of the RRAS MMC Snap-In is by design. This is ridiculous for administrators wishing to control from one central location using Win 7.

  • Hi,

As you said, RRAS is not included in Remote Server Administration Tools. This is by design. If you have any inconvenience, please submit your feedback to our Product Feedback Team : http://mymfe.microsoft.com/Windows%20%207/Feedback.aspx?formID=195

  • I find it crazy that this is 'by design'. I'll send feedback to the team regardless.

  • When will this be resolved?  RRAS snap in is still not included in the administration toolkit for W2k8.

This cannot be by design...  if that's what they claim, they need new people in charge of "by design".  Replacing them and getting someone who knows how to "by design" would be desirable.

Yes.  Please inform us how to access the RRAS snap in for Windows 7.
