Can not start WSUS on Windows Server 2012 R2 / 7032 / 7042 / 7053 / 10022 / 12032 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi
fresh WSUS Installation on a virtual Windows Server 2012R2 (Host: MS Hyper-V 2012R2)
After the first synchronisation the System Drive was completly full. There was no chance to change the configuration or do something else. So we decided to stop the WSUS Services and after that we did a "reset" via cmd and then deleted the files in WSUSCONTENT manually. After a reboot the WSUS Service doesn't run.
After that we decided to uninstall the WSUS and after a new reboot we did a new Installation. But the WSUS Server has his old Configuration and we can't do some changes. Error MSG in german: "die konfiguration kann nicht gespeichert werden da der server noch eine frühere konfigurationsänderung verarbeitet"  (configuration could not saved because a previous configuration Change is in process..or similar..)
Eventlog says: 7032 (Windows Server Update Services), 7053 (Windows Server Update Services), 10022 (Windows Server Update Services), 12032 (Windows Server Update Services, 7042 (Windows Server Update Services) .any help ?
