Active Directory and OCS 2007 RRS feed

  • good day staff

    I had a server with OCS 2007 - this server just making trouble and not have more spare parts.

    Active Directory in Scheme consists fields OCS, my doubt is if I do some kind of cleaning in order to remove the OCS 2007 courses within the AD, since I do not have more OCS server, however the fields still contained in AD

     You can remove OCS with adsiedit,this will cleanup OCS from AD;

  • Hi,
    Basically you need to deactivate all server roles either through the GUI or using LCSCMD from the command line.
    Then unprep the Domain and unprep the forest to remove all OCS entries.
    LCSCmd.exe /Domain[:<Domain FQDN>] /Action:DomainUnPrep
    LCSCmd.exe /Forest[:<forest FQDN>] /Action:ForestUnprep
    Regarding to uninstall OCS2007, you could follow the blog as blow to have a try:

  • Hello, thanks

    I have no longer the OCS server, so do not have to uninstall the application
    what I need is to delete the ocs fields 2007 were in the Active Directory database
